Furness Shipping Ltd. has been active as a shipping lines' representative since 1st October 1983 and was a member of the Furness Group with its head-office in Vianen/The Netherlands.
In May 2000 HIM Furness nv, Vianen, and Furness Shipping Ltd. agreed on a Management Buyout. Werner Saurenmann took over 100% of the shares of Furness Shipping Ltd. retroactively from January 1st, 2000 and now signs as President of the board.
Since 14th August 1996 Furness Shipping Ltd. holds the ISO 9002 Quality Management System Certificate. In July our QS-Management-System was adjusted to the new standard ISO 9001:2000.
